With the beginning of football season & slightly cooler temperatures, I thought it was time to make the first Fall meal of the season! To me nothing says "Fall" more than a pot of chili. I like to make mine with lots of different seasonings & spices. A dollop of sour cream, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, & a few jalapenos makes my bowl of chili complete.

I made fresh corn bread muffins, said by my husband, were "northern style".  Feeling adventurous I attempted a new recipe, Zucchini-Corn Fritters. I found the recipe in the September issue of Food Network Magazine.

They turned our great! And delicious! But seriously, have you ever had something fried that you did not love?!?  I very rarely fry anything, but I just had to try them, with the zucchini & corn they were semi-healthy...right??
