A Movie & Munchies

What better way to spend a rainy afternoon than with a cheesy vampire movie* a bowl of homemade chex mix!

1 cup butter
 2 1/2tsp. seasoned salt
 9 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 2/3 cup Corn Chex
2 2/3 cup Rice Chex
2 2/3 cup Wheat Chex
1 cup salted mixed nuts

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.  Melt butter in large shallow roasting pan (I used a 9x13 baking pan) in oven.
After butter is melted stir in seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce.  Gradually add the cereal and  nuts.  Mix all together until pieces are coated in the sauce mixture.  Then bake for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towel to cool.  Recipe yields around 9 cups or so.

I got this recipe from my friend Stephanie, she made it & brought it for Halloween weekend, and I couldn't wait to try it out. Such a delicious snack!  The perfect addition to a party, family gathering, or a rainy afternoon!

*yes, I must admit, I am a Twilight fan. I've read the books and am shamelessly looking forward to the newest movie coming to theaters....
nothing better than teenage romance, vampires, & werewolves!
