stuck in a rut

Friday, November 30, 2012

Happiest of Friday's my sweet friends!  Saying goodbye to my favorite month of the year is always a little bittersweet.  I'm looking forward to December and all its festive glory, but November and all her pumpkin spicy goodness is where my heart truly resides.

Looking forward to a fun weekend at home.  Another oyster roast is on the agenda as well as picking out a Christmas tree!  We've been stuck in a oyster roasting rut the past few weekends.  It goes something like this: friends come over, I make way too much food, bonfires are made, lots of fun is had, and bushel upon bushel of oysters are eaten!  So I guess if you're going to be stuck in a rut, that is surely the one to be stuck in.  I wore this outfit a few Saturday's ago {at another oyster roast}and loved it. It was the perfect amount of comfy and cute, topped off with a scarf.  The bad thing about putting together an outfit and loving it, is wanting to wear it all the time.Which is something you just can't do when all your oyster roasting guests are the same friends who came over last weekend...... So I'm hoping to find something as equally fun in my closet to wear this Saturday.

Oh, and did you notice?  Life as we know it has gotten a whole new look!  Melissa, over at Melissa Rose Design did a fantastically fabulous job! I love every single ounce of it.  She was wonderful to work with, ever so patient with me, professional, friendly, and girl sure knows blog design stuff! I would recommend her to anybody who may be looking for a little blog facelift or design.  Thanks again Melissa!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Do something festive!

  3. Love the new design! So pretty & clean.

I feel the same way about putting outfits together! When I plan a good one I try to wear it as many times as possible without people catching on!! :)

  4. LOVING your new design (and though we have never met, I feel like it's so you!) I LOVED working with Melissa as well, she is fabulous and worth EVERY penny!
